Valet Parking - Thoughts and Questions

I'll be doing a solo stay at the Beach Club this coming Labor Day weekend. Regular parking is going to be either $24 or $25 a day as I don't remember the exact date I made this reservation.

For $33 a day I can do valet parking. Why wouldn't I chose to do valet for only $8 more per night? Granted I'll have to tip when the car is brought to me but that's just a few bucks, right? And it's going to be bloody hot at this time of year and walking to my car that I've had to park a long distance away just isn't appealing. And I'm traveling solo so while safety isn't a huge concern it IS in the back of my mind.

I plan on leaving my resort at least once a day for meals, shopping outside the world, etc. This is primarily a resort-centric trip with early morning forays into the parks because of the heat.

I also have Tables in Wonderland so I get valet parking whenever I do table-service dining at a resort.

A few questions:

1. If I valet park at the Beach Club, does that allow me to valet park at other resorts?
2. What is the time limit to valet park at other resorts provided I am able to do this? I know for TiW it is a limit of 3 hours.
3. What is the usual and customary tip when the valet brings you your car?
4. What about Valet parking at Disney Spring with or without the TiW option? Where is Valet? I normally park in the Green garage as it's most convenient for me.

2. Typically none, but you can double-check with the Valet
3. Tough. I'm used to free Valet parking, so I tip $5. That would be 15%; twenty percent would be $6.

Valet parking is available in the following 3 areas:

• Near the entrance to the Orange Garage from 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM
• On West Side in front of Cirque du Soleil from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM
• In the Lemon Lot near the World of Disney shop from 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM

The cost of valet parking is $20 and will be collected at the time of pick-up. Gratuity is not included.

Not sure if the TiW will get you free valet at Disney Springs. The TiW website says "complimentary Resort valet and theme park parking for dining purposes".

For reservations made before June 18, 2019 for arrivals in 2019 or 2020: the overnight parking fee is $24 per night at the Deluxe resorts. For reservations on or after June 18, 2019 overnight parking is $25 per night at the Deluxe resorts.

A few questions:

1. If I valet park at the Beach Club, does that allow me to valet park at other resorts?

I agree with the great feedback from the PPs. Just a reminder to keep your Valet parking receipt from the BC and you will get free valet parking at the other resorts during the same day when you show it at the valet stand when you reclaim your vehicle.

We tip both ways on Valet, parking and pick-up so we usually do $3 to $5 each way.

Are you driving your own car or renting one? If renting, I would skip it and use Lyft.

I am driving my own car. I live in the Tampa Bay Area so I always drive on my solo trips.
