Valet parking at Downtown Disney?

I was just on Deb Wills site and it said something about there being valet parking at Downtown Disney. Is that so? If so what are the details? Where is it close to Cirque? How much? I've never driven around WDW so I hadn't ever paid any attention to this.

This coming trip is the first time we're driving to WDW and I'm a tad bit nervous about it. I figure since I'll have the car, I'd drive to some PS's and to Cirque but I want to drop the three senior citizens I'll have with me off close so they won't have to walk far as we're not going to bring all three ECV's to Cirque, resort restaurants, etc. It seems like the buses drop off closer to PI and that would still be a little hike for them, plus we'll need more dependable transportation that night. Planning on going to Calif. Grill afterwards.

Let me tell ya, it's different negotiating WDW transportation options with THREE ECV's in your party when the buses only hold two at a time too! It's certainly testing my WDW knowledge that's for sure. I'm up for the challenge though!

Sorry, I think I got to rambling there....

There USED to be valetparkingat DTD (early/mid 90s). But they no longer offer it as far as I know.

Cirque is right beside the parking lot, so you can drop them off very close to the theater and go to park.

Do any of them have a handicapped parking pass you could use? If they don't, given that they need ECV's maybe their doctor would give them authorization for one and you could get it before the trip (the removable kind that hands from rear view mirror). That might be a big help at several places...

Yes, Dad's got a handicap parking pass we'll take. I didn't think there was valet parking at DTD, but like I said, this is the first time I've driven so I never had a need to know.
