I could use some quick suggestions. My daughter will be in a competition for Irish dancers over the Valentine's Day / President's Day weekend. So we are planning to stay off-site and visit SeaWorld this trip because we missed it during our last trip to WDW in October. (This is a rather last-minute trip).

My delimma is that Valentine's Day is our 16th wedding anniversary and I would love to take my wife out for a good meal (as I usually do). This is especially since last year for our anniversary we had to cancel at the last minute because my DW came down with the stomach flu and ended up on IV fluids. Some fun, huh?

I don't know where to choose however. We plan to take the kids this time (ages 7 & 10 and very well behaved). We don't plan to visit any of the WDW parks on this trip so those restaurants are out. I would love to go to CA Grille but that has probably been booked for ages. Any suggestions given my constraints?

Thanks in advance for all your help! :)

Yachtmas Steakhouse at the Yacht Club is a great place. The atmosphere is very nice and the food is delicious. Also, Narcoosee's at the GF has great views of the castle and very good food too (just get an early PS so you can see the fireworks, a PS around fireworks time means you will wait very long for your table to open up). Both had kids there, but were primarily adult restaurants so they would be perfect for your meal.

Hi, How about Ohanas at the Poly?? We have Ps there for 7pm on Valentines, fireworks are at 8pm then the EWP will be at 9pm. We will probably watch the EWP from the beach. The children will love it, they play games during dinner. Everything is served family style and the amount of food is HUGH!If you look for another thread I started for "Ohana and Fireworks time?" you can get a lot of info on the dinner. Joan S.Happy Anniversary!!:Pinkbounc My husband and I did Cal. Grille for our Anniversary 2 years ago it was very nice but we did not take our children.

How about Artist Point @ WL, and then a carridge ride at Fort Wilderness afterward. That's my plan for our upcomming trip.

If you like seafood, how about Flying Fish at the Boardwalk?. There are a lot of activities on the Boardwalk that your children would enjoy and for the grown-ups, it has a nice atmosphere. Start with a champagne cocktail at the Bellevue Lounge in the BWI.

Thanks everyone for your help!

I just called and almost everything was booked or the earliest seating was around 9:30 - 10:00 pm. Wayyyyy tooooo late!

I asked about CA Grille, Narcoosee's, Citrico's, etc. with no luck but finally lucked out on Jiko at 7:20. For some reason, they had plenty of seating left. But they did require a credit card to hold the ressie.

My biggest concern about Jiko is that it will be noisy since it is so close to Boma - has anyone noticed the noise levels?

Thanks again! :D
