Oddly enough, I did not cry! I have been welling up for weeks whenever I think about it, but did not cry at the PS.
I think it is because we were totally exhausted from our night before.
In Arizona, we have our Monsoon season, in July and August, when we get heavy rains and high winds...
So the night before we are going to leave, when we were going to be packing and getting all the loose ends tied up, we get a huge storm that tore out a tree at Val's house, and tore some of our tree limbs off, and dumped inches of rain in like 30 minutes, and tore out all of the POWER LINES leading up to our power grid (if that's what you call it).
So it's like 105 degrees, no power, no lights, and it was out for 6 hours until about midnight, so any rest we got was very fitful, because it was so darn hot!!! (Val lives 5 minutes away and did not lose power, so got to sleep with the luxury of air conditioning and got to finish her packing that night)
Then when everything came on at midnight, I had to get up and go through the house and shut everything off that came on, but the sound of AC was a blessing! Val's sister, Tori, had come up that day, she and my DH were sawing logs and didn't even move, but DH hadn't gone to sleep until about 10:30, which is very late for him because he get's up about 4 am for work.
We had to get up to get ready to go at 3:30 in the morning, and just felt kind of queasy because of lack of sleep.
Hence my absolute bad hair, I had taken a shower and washed it and was getting ready to style it when we lost power. It never really recovered the entire trip!
So after the tasting session and we were stuffed with all that good food, and she started making her choices for floral etc, I think we were all sort of numb.
But we did manage to stagger back to the park to use our FastPass on Indiana Jones and Space that we had gotten earlier!!!
