A patient of mine gave me the web site and it's really cheap but I just wondered how good they are? Don't want to get scammed!!

I've used this company once before for a Carnival cruise when we were beginning our cruising. I liked the pricing, but after further research, I found that it was still slightly cheaper dealing direct with the cruise lines.
I'd encourage you to go to the website, find a price you like, then go to the cruise line website to see if they have a better rate. If not, call the cruise line to see if they'll match it/better it. They likely will.
One negative about VTG is that, at the time anyway, they did not accept online booking. You had to call an 800 number and book that way, where the sales agent would try to 'upgrade' you.

We booked a Princess Cruise through them and were not impressed. When you call in to book, you get assigned a travel agent and that is the only person who will answer your questions. You can't ask anyone else working there a question they will just refer you back to your original person and if he/she is not working they will tell you when he is working and to call back then. Very inconvenient. Then the travel agent messed up the names and birthdates on everyone in our rooms and it took 3 phone calls before it was fixed. My mom added a third room through a different TA at vacations2go and that person at least got the reservation right. After the many phone calls we had to deal with, I would not recommend them.

We booked Disney through them last year. I was a little scared at first, as we always used Disney or DVC in the past for our reservations. We had no problems to speak of. We were assigned an agent, he even e-mailed us before we left, and called after we got back to see if we had a good trip. I guess it's luck of the draw :confused3
