Vacation Tips for Women! :)

I found it at Walgreens yesterday. It was on the bottom shelf by the shampoo.

My daughter loves the dry shampoos. There are several of them out there and I usually order hers online. I'll have to check Walgreens though..it'd be great if they had them.

I third the DIVA cup. (although I do wear a backup liner, just in case!). It's a learning curve thing, but once you get the "hang of it" there's nothing better- sometimes I've FORGOTTEN I had my period and left it in all day! I try to empty it in private bathrooms if I can help it, but you can just do a quick emptying without a full washing if necessary...also, flushable wipes, or a small squirt bottle of water in your purse helps!
:thumbsup2

Has anyone found this at a local drug store, or did you have to order it?:confused3

Sorry! I just pm'd you back. I found it at CVS for about $6. It was next to the regular shampoos in an UGLY red & white aerosol can. I used it Tues & loved it! I thought it would smell really gross, too, but it wasn't bad.

Well ladies!! You have officially converted me!

I went shopping today, and have just ogtten out of hte bath having used my new LUSH Jumping Juniper solid shampoo and Jungle Conditioner.

OMG, I love it!!

Now my hair smells like the shop! Mmmmm!

Just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents.

I recommend Pronto dry shampoo by Oscar Blandi. I prefer the powder version over the aerosol spray version--it lasts longer and looks better to me. You can get it at Sephora or Ulta for about $11.00 for the 1 oz size, which has lasted me about a year using it an average of once a week. Anytime I've gotten a little sweaty (like at Disney) and don't have time to totally wash my hair and start over or if I washed my hair the day before and it still looks pretty good just a bit oily at the roots, this stuff works great to absorb the oil and look fresh as new. I used to use a bit of baby powder and rub it in my palms and then rub it through my hair at the roots, which accomplishes basically the same thing, especially when it has been too long between highlight jobs and my roots are getting dark, but I like this soooo much better. It smells great, and doesn't feel as gross by the end of the day. Now this IS NOT a substitute for a real water and shampoo wash, but it does do the trick for a day in the above situations for me. BTW, I am a blonde (darkish blond), so I am not sure how the white powder would work on dark hair.

HTH someone. Loving the tips on this thread!!!!

I am soooo jealous of you guys who are close to a Lush store. I live in BFE.

I love this!~~And also in the dream we're wearing our lime green crocs and applying our sunscreen we've just got out of our shoe organizer hanging in the room!

When we're dreaming about tucking our Lush items into our Vera Bradley backpacks and checking to make sure we have what we need to apply under our girls why yes we might be Dis'ing a bit ~~

Need to add we are one bare mineral wearing, waxing, de -frizzing, no sweaty tatas bunch!

:rotfl2: Took me a couple posts to figure out BFE .... is that in the US? Canada? UK? :rotfl:

Another plug for Cake's hair/body powder, it comes in two shades, one lighter/one darker & I mix them to get a more "natural" look ;)

I know that some people dont tell their doctors that they are going on vacation. But I make sure to have a check up right before we go just to make sure everything's okay! I did talk to my doctor about things that could help out with walking and he prescribed me a Anti-inflamitory medicine to take once a day with Advil. Needless to say I dont have any trouble going to the parks and walking all day. I'm also slightly pooh-sized and it helps out alot!

Tell me about it!!!! I went to University in the UKs one!

Notice the complete lack of surrounding towns!

I did have the funniest dream the other night that DH recreated our wedding, and then said he moved up our WDW trip to leave that day, and added an extra week.

My reply? "Where are our ADRs?" After throwing a hissy fit about not having them and going on the DxDP, I asked for the park hours so I could start calling to make something happen.

Then I said "OMG. I haven't ordered anything from LUSH yet, we haven't gotten in AK's mini hipster, I haven't bought bodyglide or moleskin, I need to reorder my bare minerals, I need to redo my planning journal and NOTHING IS PACKED IN PLASTIC BAGS!"

Yep, I've been Dissing too much:lmao:

DH said last night, when are you going to Stop DIS'ing and do actual trip planning?
This is too much fun!!

I LOVE that the 2 posts above make me feel like this is part of the normal trip planning that everyone does! LOL
