Huskers win!!!This is a great game!
Yep. Turned out not good for my bracket, although I had Vandy losing in the next round anyway. Saturday is in the books. Ready to see who else joins these 8 (Texas, Michigan, M-State, Nebraska, Houston, Illinois, Arkansas and Duke). Lots of blue bloods at this point.Vandy and Nebraska is a nail biter.

Um, there's still a game going on.Yep. Turned out not good for my bracket, although I had Vandy losing in the next round anyway. Saturday is in the books. The real madness was in Edmonton tonight… way more drama filled than March Sadness…NOW it's done.![]()
Yep. I don't think anyone expected High Point to beat Arkansas. Arkansas was up by about 10 when I made the post. So it was pretty much in hand.NOW it's done.![]()
It's only for two days. People aren't going to sign up for Paramount+ just to watch soaps for two days and they do not show game shows.I really think what CBS needs to do when March Madness games is give people the option to watch their regular scheduled programming on Paramount+ because I think every time they show the games the afternoon programming of CBS is always preempted every time. Mom disliked March Madness because when it would begin she would miss The Young And The Restless and for me I would never get to see Let's Make A Deal and The Price Is Right would be on after and I think CBS should air the new episodes of soap operas and make Let's Make A Deal and The Price Is Right be shown on Paramount+ while the March Madness games are on
And you're not missing shows. They're not producing shows for those two days. So if you watched "show 6" on Wednesday, "show 7" will air on Monday. That's why putting them on Paramount+ wouldn't help.I really think what CBS needs to do when March Madness games is give people the option to watch their regular scheduled programming on Paramount+ because I think every time they show the games the afternoon programming of CBS is always preempted every time. Exactly. People will complain about it either. And who still watches soaps anyway? I didn’t know they still broadcasting that crap. Of course I’m usually at work during the day unless sick or I took a day off. It's only for two days. I understand the frustration, but wouldnt that result in SOME game not being shown at all? There's usually three to four games being played simultaneously (although offset by 10-15 min).Exactly. My only gripe with March Madness is they should put the local teams on CBS. Like Thursday they showed Michigan in DFW instead of Texas or even A&M. I promise you there’s a lot more folks down here that care about the Longhorns or , gulp, Aggies than care about the Wolves. But that’s my only gripe or complaint.
That’s what CBS used to do… along with DirecTV making you get a PPV package for games not airing locally… and even then those feeds are subject to being cut if it’s a blowout. What TNT and CBS are doing are much better because you don’t need to pay a higher premium price to watch your team’s games IN THEIR ENTIRETY. No blackouts, too.Exactly. We only have CBS. We're one of the few that's cut cable, so we just get the main channels on our antenna. So I could only watch CBS.I understand the frustration, but wouldnt that result in SOME game not being shown at all? A: CBS
B: TNT
C: TBS
D: Tru(?)
If you move a game from a single market from TNT to CBS for example, how do the folks in the DFW market see the game that's on CBS elsewhere?
Personally, I wish they'd put the TBS/TNT/Tru games on the CBS subchannels.
March Madness Live also provided free stream previews long enough to stream a large chunk of 1 game.We only have CBS. We're one of the few that's cut cable, so we just get the main channels on our antenna. So I could only watch CBS.
I remember when the tournament was ONLY on CBS, and they put the local games on the local market. Everything else you'd have to go to a bar. I've got to say, I really like having all the games available so I can switch around depending on what looks interesting. We only have CBS. I've never understood the weekend schedule in Week 1. There's a standalone game at like 12:15, another standalone game at 3:30 (ish) and the first time on Saturday and Sunday there were multiple games on wasn't until like 6pm. I'm not sure why they don't space them out more. I understand they're not going to have a noontime west coast start, but with eight games, it doesn't make a lot of sense to have 5 of them start after 6pm, IMO.I understand the frustration, but wouldnt that result in SOME game not being shown at all? Oh, I agree. Four sites each day, and two games at each site...I've never understood the weekend schedule in Week 1.
