Vacation help 2007

Hello, disney fans, haven’t been on here a while, I am planning my 2nd trip to Disneyland, I will be going hopefully April 29th –May 3rd. Is, this a good time to go regarding crowds, I am bringing new people who have never been to Disneyland!!! Also, we book our last vacation through Disneyland,( quite expensive last year 2006) is their another way to save money, maybe booking the hotel, air, car and tickets separately!!! I am a AAA member and DVC member (consider using points, is it worth using), we would like to stay at one of three Disneyland resorts, we are also consider using “Dreams unlimited vacation packages”!! It will be just 4 adults, if anyone can help me with advice and travel packages, it will be greatly appreciated. Any advice (rooms, tickets, etc) would be helpful, please help, running out of town

We usually book a flight+hotel+car pkg through Expedia. We have gotten great deals that way. This year, we are using points to stay at the GC, and we'll get our flight and car from Expedia.

I think that using points to stay at the GC was a great use of points since I probably wouldn't be staying there for 6 days otherwise. We are conserving some of our points and staying our first two nights (a Fri and Sat night) in a Good Neighbor Hotel. We haven't booked anything yet, except the GC nights, but we'll get the 2 nights in a GNH from Expedia also.

We have had pretty good luck do far booking though them, we even booked our trip to Jamaica through them.

one thing you can check out is getawaytoday.com ......they have some really good rates that include hotel and tickets...if you are a dvc member I would use the points...

Should be a great time, we will be there April 26-30, so right before you and it should be low crowds!!
