We are looking into renting points, I'm new at all this chat and internet stuff. I have been reading as much as I can about renting points. We spent almost $25,000.00 last April in 18 days. We book the Doubletree Suites thinking that it was on site that it would be in the class of Disney Hotels. I actually cried when I saw the room! We only stayed long enough to book into a Disney World Hotel. I was so relieved when we finally were booked into the BW Hotel. At over $400.00 a night for 17 nights in Cnd. dollar it was alot but it was our vacation so we did it. We also went out the following day and purchased Premium Annual Passes for the 4 of us because it made sense with our length of stay. To make a long story short the Hotel double swiped our visa plus paying for the passes $3000.00 cnd. our visa didn't work when my husband went to pay for dinner. Thank god I had traveller chqs with me.
It took WDW 2 days before they would admitt that they made an error by over charging us $9500.00! My husband gave them 10 minuites to call us back in our room with either some free nights or a upgrade. We were upgraded to a beatiful cottage that had 2 floors it's own garden and a quiet pool out in front. Our holiday started so badly but ended up like a dream.
I now want to go back soon, I want to stay in a 1 bedroom suite at BW. We never were offered any discounts with our passes and now they have expired, I thought we should have at least gotten a news letter on events ect.? Any feed back
