VA: Can anyone make sense of this?

i may be being overly pessimistic but having flown Virgin on my last two trips to Florida and 2 times to LA, they've never kept to the online seat reservations for us anyway, they have always moved us even though I've checked in online. I'm now resigned to the early starts!!

So I wouldn't be too worried that you can't check in online!!

Thanks. On the bright side (I always find one ) at least NOBODY checks in online so it isn't a case of some did and I didn't. And arriving early is something I just do anyway. Staying at the airport the night before, coupled with the fact that it's not an early flight makes it not so bad at all. I will keep an eye on teh site though as it appears that this is a temporary issue (it says until further notice).

Thanks. I see that obviously there is little point doing OLCI, but I want to know then what happens with our pre selected seats? Do they just let you pick them for the fun of it and it's a free for all when you get to check in?

We got the seats we'd selected online without asking (the pre-booking bit) even though we couldn't actually check in online and had to stand in the queue with everyone else.
