Just curious!!!

To be honest I have no idea! I have definitely got to get on the ball. I know he has already got something planned but I've been so busy with a research proposal for grad school that I've been too busy to think about it. I thought I might take him to the place we met to eat but it just seems so boring. Maybe I'll watch this thread and get some ideas ;)

we decided not to do 'presents' but to make each other something. we are going out to eat at his favorite korean restaurant and i made him a children's book about how we met, and illustrated it with crayon  kind of goofy but i think he will get a kick out of it!

We aren't doing anything, we are saving money for the wedding so we are going to do just cards :)

Me and Disneyfoo are probably going to stay in at my house, with a takeaway and a film. Nothing more, as long as we're together that's the best I can hope for :cloud9:

Our upcoming trip in May is our Christmas/Birthday/Valentines/You-name-it gift to eachother!

We're going out to dinner and a comedy show this weekend but on actual Valentine's day we're just staying at his house giving each other our little gifts and probably watching a movie.

The restaurant we wanted to go to was all booked for V-Day so we're going there Wednesday night. For V-Day I'm making DH his favorite meal (seafood stuffed crepes, from scratch, he only gets it about twice a year since it takes me an hour to clean up after making it!) and pineapple upside down cake (his grandmother's recipe). And I couldn't resist these cute "love" boxers at Target ;)

We were planning on celebrating Saturday night because Tuesdays are busy for us. I planned a romantic dinner at home and now we are going to have a Nor'Easter dumping at least 12" of snow on us. DH plows so I'll be home alone :sad2: Guess we'll have to celebrate next weekend.

As for gifts we are just doing a little something because of the expensive vacation we took last month.

DH and I have a tradition of having english muffin pizzas and a bottle of wine on V-day. I have no idea how that got started! This year he'll be out of town on Valentine's Day so we'll have to do our traditional dinner on Monday night, and I'll spend tuesday night at the gym. Romantic huh? ;)

Since we have 4 children we celebrate with them and follow a tradition of a "romatic heart shaped meal for six". Complete with table set with linens, china, wine glasses, candle light, etc.
This year I will make heart shaped pizza. Then something heart shaped and sinfully decadent and chocolate for dessert. Sparkling grape juice out my new mickey head wine glasses I got last wdw vacation. .
After that we either watch a movie or play a board game with the kids.
And hopefully they are asleep before we are.
We always exchange gifts with the kids. Nothing much usually: candy and a small gift for them. Homemade cards and such from them. Dh and I usually keep it small between us. Our favorite: Coupons. We make these ourselves and they are for things such as dinner out, back rubs, do the other's least favorite household chore, romantic bubble baths, cook dinner for the other, etc

DH2B is working Tuesday night, so we're celebrating this weekend...Schula's (I think at the Dolphin?) for dinner on Saturday and one night stay at the Boardwalk Villas. He wanted to keep it a surprise, but between my aversion for surprises and him really wanting to tell me, it didn't stay a secret for very long!!!

I can't say everything because my bf is a new DIS-er! ("RobbieLovesLulu" - and I only found out when I logged on one say and I had a pm! Isn't that the most romantic thing? :lovestruc )

However, I usually work Tuesday nights teaching a diet class and all the girls in the class agreed to have class Monday instead, so I'll be off and we can spend the evening together! princess: :groom:

In addition, I bake him a Black Forest Cake (his favorite) in a heart shaped pan  every single year- this will be the fourth one running! The first one I made while I was still in college- and it was a *huge* challenge because I didn't have a kitchen- I had to beg and borrow (didn't steal though) to make it and it was the best one of all the ones I've made! :cloud9:

I like our stay-in tradtion- to me it's more romantic than dining out and less expensive, too!

Since I have to work til 11pm that night we are going to a real nice resturant and a movie on Saturday

I baked a chocolate heart cake for my hubby. :lovestruc We are doing the typical cards and candy but he is making me fondue at home and after that cuddling to Casablanca which we both have never seen.

My sweetie and I aren't doing anything on Valentine's Day. We do the long distance thing and with it falling on a Tuesday doesnt help. I sent him and his girls a special package last week though. Might celebrate this coming weekend. I dont put too much stress on having a good Valentine's Day. If it works out good, great. If not, no big.
