V B Waitlist for Nov 19-24 ?s

Today, the 2nd day (missed Sat.) of the 7 mo. window for our extended Annual Holiday Trip and we called to get the 2 Bdrm villa ressies booked, planning on booking day by day Monday - Sat. Nov. 19-24 and MS told us that we would have to waitlist, but the good news was we could book the entire stay today. I've only had to wait list one other time for an OKW GV (before buying an add on) and forgot most of the details but remember that the final day of the stay was not available until check-in.

I know Thanksgiving is busy and this is a smaller resort, but specific to Vero Beach 2 Bdrm, has anyone experienced the waitlist for Thanksgiving week before and did the waitlist come through?

Being a planner by nature and nurture, wait lists drive me slightly crazy and we'll probably make cash gulf coast beach ressies as a back up for this week before our Beach Club stay the week before

Are you sure you counted right? This should be 6 months out from Thanksgiving, and 7 months out from Christmas time.
