Okay, I know everyone has their opinions about the two... but I am still going to ask... we love Ariels, and eat there every trip--for the princesses, and I know the food is great. Well, we are already going to eat there for a princess lunch, would it be too much to eat there again for WOC passes do you think? I was planning to book WCT for something different, but it isn't as appealing to me--the dessert sounds frankly awful. Also, the menu makes it look like you get wine with your dinner at WCT, which is a plus, but I haven't really read that anyone had that... so maybe it isn't included. :confused3

I know the first couple weeks the bugs were getting worked out at WCT, but has anyone gone recently that can reassure me? I'd hate to book it and then wish we'd just eaten at Ariels twice (which seems really silly to me!)

i would say stick to your instincts and go for Ariels, we loved it, i used to be a huge fan of WCT but ever since they changed the menu, im not a huge fan, i know the WoC menu is different but if you already have had good meals at Ariels stick with them.

I am doing some research on on this topic the DLR website, and I saw that you get the wine at an additional cost. I am trying to decide if I want to do the package as well, maybe a surprise for DBF! I also heard the meal at WCT was horrible (read a TR I think?) so I think I'd definitely go for Ariels Grotto!

EDIT: Sorry to high jack this thread, but is the Picnic Package a good idea to do instead? What is the difference between an Ariel's Grotto ticket and a Picnic ticket?

From what I have read the dinner tickets stand in the premium viewing area (there is a map on here somewhere), and picnic are regular blue passes... not a big difference, but some.

HydroGuy has posted a great WoC thread which includes a link to LurkyLoo's review of WCT vs. Ariel dinner packages. Her strong recommendation: go with Ariel. More and better food (and less money)!

My daughter & I did WCT for WOC and loved it, The food was amazing!!! We did breakfast at Ariels Grotto & the food was ok......must be different tastes!!:confused3
I would definetly do WCT again next time I go to DL!!

Everyone has their 2 cents on what do , areils vs. WCT, personally if it was me, I would do WCT., I love WCT, the food is awesome, the service is outstanding! The menu Is un believable! I am always impressed with the way my food is presented to me at WCT, I also absolutely love the rustic bruschetta (an appetizer), I don’t think is offered on the WOC WCT menu—but it is worth trying!! Also, WCT now has this awesome lounge adjacent to the WOC dinner tables, a great place to grab a wine while you wait for your table!

I would definately say WCT, we were going to book AG but realised that the Princesses are not included in the WOC dinner package, which is the reason we were going. We swapped AG to a breakfast booking and booked WCT WOC package. The food was absolutely amazing! I have no complaints.
