I've got the Eurotunnel vouchers and am just waiting for the extra lot of deals tokens to arrive at the start of Feb to convert into airmiles.

So, we are looking to go the first week of April - do you think that will be enough notice to get the crossing we want using the Tesco vouchers or are there limited numbers of places per train and limited times when you can use the Tesco deals?

In your situation I would call up now and get the crossing booked. I don't think there is a limit to how many people can book a crossing using Tesco vouchers, but rather like airlines the price goes up as the pleaces on each crossing sell.
I have used tesco Deals for Eurotunnel once and I booked in January for October. I was surprised when a friend of mine tried booking in May for the same week and all the reasonably priced crossings had sold.
I hope you're ok and can get what you want.:thumbsup2

You need to have converted the clubcard points into deals before you phone to book Euro Tunnel. When you phone the number they will as for your deal voucher numbers. You then have 48/72 hours to submit the deals otherwise your booking is cancelled :)

You shouldn't have a problem in getting the crossing you want, we have booked quite late in the summertime and still got the time / date we wanted. The most I've had to pay for a crossing is £100 (so £25 in Tesco vouchers) - and this was for July booking late, you can pay the difference in money if you don't have enough vouchers. The prices we have been quoted on the phone have always been the same you see on their website so a good indication for you.

We've always found the whole process really easy so you should be fine.

OK. booked yesterday - got the time and date we wanted. Had to overpay by £18 worth of tokens as I changed too many vouchers but £30 for the return crossing is not bad going.

Shame that I changed £250 of vouchers to airmiles only to find out that 3 nights at the NPB would have been £750 plus a load of miles! The DLRP website had the same dates as £592. The woman on the other end of the phone said they'd use up all their allocation of the current deal and so were quoting standard prices.

So I booked with Disney direct.

I was hoping to go oct4th, would this leave me enough time to get my tickets? Ive £40 in tesco vouchers but wont get them until May as they were previously lost in the post and I already missed their feb mailing

You can book upto 14 days before travel so you should have plenty of time. You shouldn't need the full £40, I would've thought about £25.
