We're using RCI for DVC (groan SSR).

I know we can't get the free dining plan during our stay, but can we buy it? How much is it a person and what's included?

Do we have to pay extra for magical express?

Nobody "official" seems to be of any help. Is that a DVC or an RCI problem?

Thanks for your help in advance.

The dining plan is available for RCI exchangers. It needs to be added in advance (call the Member Services number on the confirmation letter you got from RCI). It is paid for at arrival, but needs to be requested at least a few days before. No park tickets are required for DVC guests to add the plan. You can find detailed informatiion about the DDP on our Dining Plan forum.

Magical Express is also a free service to all onsite guests and can also be added when you contact Member Services. It also needs to be requested in advance. You will need to pay a $95 activities fee - also due at arrival.

Enjoy! :)

I knew the boards would have the answer.

Is it $95 pp, per room or altogether?

Thanks.

We used RCI to trade into BWV. I agree that RCI is not very helpful. However, I called the DVC Member Services (800 800 9800) and they were most helpful. Webmaster Doc answered your questions but I just wanted to let you know that you can call Member Services as well. Be sure to ask them your Disney Reservation number because that is different from your RCI Reservation number. I added on the QSDP for our trip in May. It was $518.00 or 2 adults and 1 child for 7 nights. Plus, the $95 processing fee that the PP mentioned. That comes out to 14 quick service meals, 14 snacks, and 3 refillable resort mugs. I believe you have to add it on 48 hours before check in (might be more) but you don't actually pay it until you check in. Also as the PP mentioned, park tickets are not required.

When you call Member Services, you may also want to make sure they have the proper phone number for you, as you sometimes need that to retrieve your reservation on line.
