Using points at hotel?

Anyone have any idea how many points a moderate resort requires per night for this October?

I only ask as we have flights booked and are hoping to buy into DVC before then but have been told there is very little DVC availability for our dates and a hotel may be our only option if we are using points for our stay.

Moderates will cost a great deal more points than a DVC room. It will be 18 points a night for a regular hotel room and 32 points a night for a weekend night.

Ideally we wolud prefer DVC but if it means losing points or using them at a greater rate I would rather use them! Thats not too bad for the moderates, any ideas for say Contemporary?

Also can I use points for the same night but have two different rooms booked at two different resorts?

Hmmm sounds interesting. I take it 32 points is a standard room?

CR goes up to 65/117 for a tower club room in oct.
