We are considering a trip to Disneyland next summer. We are a family of 5. Are we able to use points to book one room that would fit all 5 of us at any of the 3 hotels? We did stay in the DL hotel 4 years ago but our youngest was 1 1/2 at the time and in a crib. They would be 6, 10 and 12 next summer. Thank you!

We have had rooms at DLH & PP with 2 queens and a daybed which would work fine for your family. I can't remember if any rooms at the GC have the same set up. Have a great time on your trip!

I believe that GC also has similar suite rooms. You have to ask MS about the point requirements since they don't publish them in the planner.

The rooms at PP & DLH are standard rooms not suites.

I've had standard rooms at PP and GCH and both had 2 queens and a daybed. Should be able to fit 5.

I've stayed at GC twice - both times theme park view (though different areas) and neither of those rooms had a day bed but did have two queens. I also stayed at PP in a standard room and that did have a day bed as well as two queens.

Stayed at DLH and had large room with two queen beds and a day bed that was the size of a twin bed overlooking the pool. On one trip they also offered a rollaway bed if we needed it. At the GCH we had a smaller room with two queen beds and the best they would offer was a sleeping bag and mat for the floor. Don't know if things have changed since then but I definitely liked the DLH more.

Now that I am looking back at my pictures, the GCH room I had didn't have a daybed, there was a table and 2 chairs. I was only there 1 night. My PP room definitely did.

PP and DLH definitely have larger rooms.

I have a point chart for 08 for DLR, PM me and I will send you the numbers.

We are looking at buying and specifically wanted points for DLR, since we live in Arizona.

Some GC std view rooms have 2 queens and a daybed.

Also, if you ask MS they can price out One and two bedroom suites at the various hotels, if your interested.

We've often stayed at GC on points. GC has rooms that accommodate 5. The set up is a queen and a bunk bed with pull out trundle. Makes the room much roomier for 5.

M&C

That is the room we stayed in! The DLH also has a room with a daybed that fits five!:thumbsup2

Now we are thinking that we may use our developer points for GC since we will be having our first AKV stay (probably) in August after our cruise next year. What kind of points are we talking for GC? We also need a room that will sleep 5. TIA.

The number of points will depend on when you want to travel (season) and what type of room you'd want. If you send me a PM with this info I can look them up on the point chart.
