Using Park Tickets from Free Dining Later Trip

We have a DVC stay booked at WDW soon and noticed free dining is offered at that time.
We could book and save our points for another trip. We have APs and do not need the tickets required to get the free dining package.
Could we save these tickets for a future trip when our married kids come with us for them to use? Could we get paper tickets as opposed to them being on magic bands? We will be buying their tickets anyway so if we could get free dining now (they cannot go during free dining) it would be great!

Absolutely. When you pick up the package tickets ask that they be removed from your MB to prevent the system from using them instead of your AP.

Yep just make sure not to accidentally use one day of the package tickets or you will lose them

Gosh...I have been told by CM's two different answers. One...We cannot transfer those two day tickets from free dining package to anyone else....and Two..We can transfer them. I was also told that I could not use over (1) set of two tickets towards an Annual Pass. I am so confused!

As long as your tickets are unused, they CAN be transferred.

When upgrading to an AP they will allow you to use 1 ticket per AP.
