If I were to make a 200 point reservation at 11 months. Then At 7 months wanted to use 100 points of my non home resort contact. Can that be done by member services as a swap without canceling the whole reservation. Or do I have to cancel the whole reservation and do it over?

You have to cancel it.

Edit: If there is availability for what you have reserved, you might be able to swap the points.

If there is availability for the same dates & villa size/view, why swap? Just make a new reservation with the nonhome resort contract and cancel the other.

You cannot work around the 11-month home resort advantage by booking at 11 months with home resort points and then substituting non-home resort points at 7 months. That kind of defeats the whole idea behind the home booking benefit.

But, you can use non-home points for any available nights that are open at 7 months. You can do it online without cancelling if the non-home points are set to expire before the home resort points that were used in the reservation, such as banked or borrowed points. Just modify the reservation without changing dates or locations and then add the non-home resort to the list of contracts to be used. The "older" non-home resort points will be used before any current home resort points.

It gets more complicated if the points from both home and non-home resorts happen to expire at the same time. You would have to book the available nights using the non-home resort points and then cancel those nights in the original reservation. And that only works if the available nights come in the beginning or end of your stay.

The only replacement I have ever had luck happening is if there are dates available still and my non home resort points were banked.

The system used the banked points when I checked both. The home resort contract was locked.

For current UY points of a trip, it won’t work because you have to order the contract and since home resort is locked, it uses those first.

If You can get days at the beginning or end, book them and then drop from original trip and MS can then combine.
