Howdy,

We are planning to go to WDW this December but are probably going to be staying off-site. We have a bunch of Disney Gift Cards and also have some points on our Disney Visa card. We were told that we could use some of that to pay for our airline tickets if we decide to fly instead of drive. Does anyone know anything about how that works or doesn't work?

I saw the Airlines Statement Credit section at the bottom of this page but I don't understand everything it's saying:
https://disneyrewards.com/disney-premier-credit-card-ph/
Thanks for any clarification.

I "think" that the points on your Disney visa can be applied as a statement credit if you use that card to purchase the airline tickets. I don't think gift cards can be used towards airline tickets.

On a Disney PREMIERE card only you would purchase the ticket/s and request a statement credit within 60 days. Minimum you can redeem is $50. Do not transfer points to a Disney Redemption Card because then you cannot use the points towards airfare.

How do I know if I have the Premier card? I didn't know there were more than one Disney Visa Card... And if I don't have one, can I jsut upgrade to the premier to do the reimbursement and go back down after the year? :)

Premier card has an annual fee.
