OK question that I have not been able to find the answer to. We will be flying in on a Friday night and using DME to our Disney resort. We will be changing resorts during our vacation and would like to know if we will have a problem using DME on the way back to the airport since we will be at a different resort then where we were dropped off. We leave in less the 35 days and I'm starting to think of all these weird scenarios. TIA

DME reservations can be roundtrip, one-way inbound, or one-way outbound.

You have two WDW resort reservations, so you need two DME reservations.

Associated with your first WDW resort reservation, make a one-way inbound DME reservation.

Associated with your second WDW resort reservation, make a one-way outbound DME reservation.

So long as your Magical Express reservation to Disney is okay, don't worry about back to the airport until after you get there.

When you move to the last resort, if not already, make your DME reservation back to the airport. Normal deadline is morning of the day before the day you leave the last resort.

Double check the paper with your DME reservation, normally delivered to your resort room the morning of the day before theyday you leave. If that not correct or missing, you need to go down to the front desk again right away to make or verify any changes or corrections, and get the new paper as soon as that is ready. This could require a trip back to your resort in the afternoon.

Just be sure to use the right paperwork for your return reservations. You will be given two sets, 1 for each resort. Be sure to save the ones that will allow picking you up at your second resort.

I recommend being careful with the paperwork because we had a problem last time we changed resorts. I called for the pickup, fine. I go to the front desk early in the morning, fine. I mentioned something that didn't seem right on my paperwork and the clerk said 'oh don't worry about that'.

Then the ME driver shows up and tells me I have the wrong paperwork for the trip. He was actually telling me that he couldn't let us on. I had a mini nervous breakdown and then he decided to let us on. It was like 5am and the ME bus was running half hour late already so I was stressed :crazy2:
