Using Disney gift cards at Aulani

Just wanted to confirm that I can use Disney gift cards at the resort....for food and merchandise.

Are there any locations at the resort that don't accept disney gift cards as payment??

I used all gift cards at Aulani last summer. Restaurants, gift shops, paddleboard rental, activities that had a fee and even our Hawaii resort tax for DVC.

I used my room key for payment everywhere on property then used gift cards (both Disney and Visa) to pay my balance at the front desk.

Ditto, we charged everything then went to the front desk and paid every 2-3 days with the Disney gift cards

if you have a target red card, you can get 5% off your disney gift cards from there...so if you buy $500 worth of disney gift cards from target and use your red car to pay, you only pay $475. $25 may not seem that big of a deal, but it's $25 that you can spend elsewhere!

disney vacations aren't cheap, so every bit of savings helps!

I liked bringing the gift cards down to the beach and pool area. I do not put charging on our room key and if I only bring a $50 one down with me then that is all that could get taken. I don't worry much about it.

Can you use Disney Giftcards at Aulani spa? I have used them before at Disney World spas and Disney Cruise Line spas but just wanted to make sure.

Yes, you can use Disney GC's at the resort (not sure about the spa though.) I put charging privileges on my room key and used Disney GC's, Target Visa GC's, and my Disney Visa to pay the charges. If you have a Disney Visa or Visa rewards redemption card you can get 10% off purchases of $50 or more in the gift shop.
