Not sure where this Question belongs so your welcome to move it. Ok I booked free dining for the dates I wanted and everything is great. I paid for the trip in full with my mastercard debit card thru washington mutal bank. Disney says my balance for the trip is at 0 and when I go online to Disneyworld.com the ressie says I owe nothing. When I finally got my confirmation email it shows the payment made and when it was made and shows my balance at zero. My problem is when I go to my banks website to check my balance online it shows no record of Disney taking any money from my account. My Balance is the same with no money gone. My question is should I be worried or does it just take awhile before my banks website will show the transaction?

It might take a few days or even longer - Disney is sometimes pretty slow at actually making those charges go through.

In agreement with traveliz.

I'm pretty familiar with wamu's website (used to work there and I've banked with them over 10 years), and while some businesses take your money in seconds (hubby paid cable and cellphone, and within a minute one was a pending transaction and the other was totally gone), others take forever (took about 2 weeks for all of my Disneyland charges to totally come through).

Disney is way slow with processing debit transactions. It took a whole week till all of my charges went through from our last WDW trip.

Thank you so much I was just a bit worried since I still need to use the card to buy my MNSSHP tickets and Seaworld tickets. I was just waiting for the trip total to be taken out and then I can start my Savings for souveniers LOL

I worried about this last year but it just took a few extra days just as the everyone is saying. All you need is that confirmation and you are good.

I agree, it takes a few days- I'm a debit for everything girl- that way I don't have any unwanted bills :)
