Using Am Express for fees on award tickets

I used my Delta American Express to charge the taxes/fees on our award tickets. Will we still be eligible for the one free checked bag?

As long as the skymiles # that is connected to your American Express is on the reservation, you will get the free bag. It doesn't matter how you pay. I get the free bag when I pay with my work Visa card. It's one free bag for everyone on your reservation, up to 9 I believe.
