Good Morning,

Does anyone have any info on standard rooms for the club level--such as maybe room #s they stayed in or some pictures? I tried to jump around on this board but didnt see much for the WL regarding the club level rooms and pictures. I have stayed at the WL a few times (my all time favorite!!!!)but never concierge. Any help would be much appreciated!!!!

Here are my pics from WL concierge. The staff there was so good.

Hello, everyone. As I approach my February 4-10 stay at the GF, I have a quick question. I will be arriving on the ME bus . When I get to the hotel, who do I tell that we are concierge guests? Where will we be directed to check in? Thanks in advance! I am learning so much great information!!! :goodvibes

You can tell someone at the valet stand or someone at the front desk. They'll send someone down to take care of you. :thumbsup2

Yippee! Just booked a last minute stay at BWI concierge for Dec 12 - 16 (boy, I remember when this was a slow time of year; getting availability now is like pulling teeth). I'm so excited!

Does anyone know if they are still offering the safari (can't remember the exact name "Wildlife Discovery Tour" or something like that) for concierge guests (not the ones offered just for AKL guests).

Thanks

I think they do -- at least according to AllEarsNet. It is called the Backstage Safari Tour. I would call 407-WDW-Tour for more information. I have called that before to get information about KTTK tours and others that I have done.

Good luck!!

Thanks, but that's a different tour. This one is a one hour version of the Safari that's just for concierge guests - 45.00 per person. I was able to book it with the BWI IPO.

Thanks.

My TA is trying to get us an upgrade to Concierge at the Poly for mid Feb....so far no luck.

My play is to forgo a meal plan if we get Concierge....but if we cannot then buy the meal plan. I really want the Concierge but have other issues too.

My father-in-law and my dad, both have diabetes and hobble around. I have convinced them to rent scooters, but still would be nice to have snacks available throughout the day. I also really need connecting rooms. And of course a balcony or patio with a view would be nice too.

Since there is a price difference I should know about the Concierge or view before arrival, but the connecting rooms and patio/balcony I won't until I get there?

Maybe I am stressing for nothing but I really want this trip to flow nicely.

The Concierge rooms (other than the deluxe suites) are the same size etc. as the other WL rooms but it's nice to be on the top floor. The eating, lounge and tv areas are very comfortable and scattered around the balcony. If the rooms were larger and if the WL was on the monorail, the WL would be my very favorite place to stay in the world!

Our room was 7046 (Woodsview side) and we had this view in the distance. Please note that the camera lens was ZOOMED!

We also had these views:

Thank you so much Kathy!!!! What great pictures. Do you know off hand if all the deluxe rooms are woods view? Due to the small room size we are thinking about switching to a deluxe room but my husband likes the courtyard view.
Thanks for sharing!!!

I've been in contact frequently with the Polynesian IPO and one of the things I mentioned was that we want to do a few tours on our May 2008 trip, including the Wildlife Discovery Tour. The CM replied that she'd be able to book all of our tours at any time, and she didn't mention that the Wildlife Discovery Tour wasn't available, so I'm assuming it is. I sure hope it is, our 75-year old aunt is really looking forward to it, and so am I :)

It is still available, we are going on Dec. 15th.:woohoo:

You're welcome!

Here's some info I had saved from when we were considering this room last year.

The WL Deluxe Room is also called a Junior Suite.

Some pre-renovation pictures (scroll down on each page):

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1110663&referrerid=&highlight=WL deluxe room

This is good news for families with 5 - 6 people who can sleep using 2 queens and a sleeper sofa in two rooms. It is also a nice option for those who want a little more room than the standard WL room which can be a bit cramped for 3 or 4 adults.

Remember though that these rooms are located on floors 1 - 6 with some on the far ends of the wings and only one room on floor 6.

Here's the deluxe room (junior suite) floor plan:

Here are the room numbers from the WL FAQ:

"orignally posted by HumphreytheBear There are actually 25 "Deluxe Rooms" (Junior Suites) They are 1000, 1003, 1166, 1169, 2000, 2003, 2123, 2166, 2169, 3000, 3003, 3123, 3166, 3169, 4000, 4003, 4123, 4166, 4169, 5000, 5003, 5123, 5166, 5169 and 6123"

Yes, they are still doing it. They do it twice daily - 10am and 1pm (I'm not sure if it is every day of the week). We have it booked for next week (did it before and loved it).

I am sad...I had tried asked yesterday to see if we could do the morning excursion at AK and was told they were all booked up for the 4-12.....

If you are talking about the Wildlife Discovery Excursion for April, it is too early to book it. They can only book it 90 days out, unless it changed since I booked in September. Try again at the 90 day mark.

I took camnhan's post to mean it's booked 12/4 thru 12th (which I'm guessing is their vacation dates). :)
