Diane

Thanks Diane! :teeth: See you NEXT WEEK ON THE DISNEY MAGIC!!! :sunny: :woohoo: :sail: :boat:

We have requested the Candlelight Dinner Package from our BC IPO planner. My question is how do they handle the priority of all their guests in making these reservations, as each planner, presumably, can only make one at a time. Since there will be a limited number of dining slots, which guests will get the "first" choice, or in other words, how does the IPO office priortize their guests' preferences.

:confused3

My guess is that they are in the "pending system" by the order in which they were received.

Does anybody have any ideas for a little something that I can send to the person that did my pre-planning?

Was thinking maybe a bottle of wine or something

HELP

There is actually more than one person handling your reservations. You may only see one name, but there is usually one or two more hands touching your reservations. I've done gift baskets and they seem to be a hit. I'd just remember to send enough for a few of them to enjoy.

VAgal76, this sounds like a great idea! How did you do it? Did you have the basket sent and if so where did you send it? We usually give the concierge staff homegrown goodies (local and state products) on the day we leave. But I never thought about the IPO office. I'm all ears and would love your advice. :listen: Thanks!

We have an incredible chocolaterie based here in Calgary so I sent the AKL IPO staff a box of their chocolates. It seems to have been a big hit. If you want to send something to IPO I would suggest making sure that it is something that can be shared as has been noted before, many different people are working on your reservation.

Chocolates also sound like a great idea and we are about 40 minutes from Hershey! :goodvibes But what is the address you send it to? We are dealing with Contemporary and Boardwalk IPO's. :thanks:

There are tons of internet sites you can search for gift baskets. I've done wine/snacks basket for my TA. Then I've done cookies, chocolates, or any kind of yummy food item baskets for IPO. I usually do a google search and see what looks appealing. :teeth:

There are different IPO offices, I would contact your IPO and ask for the shipping address.

I'm in the midst of planning with GF concierge and they say the view of MK from the turret rooms is limited and that yes you can see the castle but barely. I thought there were 6 rooms. 3 went from the castle to the WP and 3 went from monorail to spa? Am i wrong here or being misinformed by GF concierge?

Hi, I have booked the polynesian conceirge for 2 weeks next December, I am really looking forward to it.
When should I email the IPO.?

I booked with Disney UK on the Disney website.

I'm thinking of booking a trip for the end of next June for just me and DH - does the IPO generally have good luck getting V&A chef's table ?

I emailed as soon as i had booked to introduce myself and ask any questions i had. I included my ressie number and they were lovely. The Poly concierge staff are fantastic :thumbsup2

Hey Gem! remember me?? Thought you'd fallen off the planet!

You are right there are 3 turret rooms that face the castle and they have good views, There was some pic's on the mooner site a while back.

You are correct. There is a castle view from 3 of the turret honeymoon suites. I thought it was a beautiful view from our 5th floor room, but you do basically have to be standing in front of the window or seated in the right spot to see it. In comparison to the other honeymoon suites on the 2nd floor, which have a dead center view of the castle.
