Use Years And More Points

Well, after reading the thread about how many points, I have a question for those who added on.

We just came into an inheritance, and are in the market for more points. I'm not quite sure if I've figured out how having contracts at more than one place3 works. Here's my questions:
1. would it be better to add on at the same resort, or buy into another one (in this case, we own at VWL, and are thinking of BWV)?

2. Is keeping the use year the same a good idea? Or does it matter really?

and finally 3> If we choose to add on at another resort, should we keep the use years the same?

We are going to be buying probably another 300 points or so. So, what does everyone think?

Keeping the same use year would make things easier for you. As to where to buy the points that depends on where you want to stay and take advantage of the 11 month window.
