This Nov my Dh and I are booking a trip to Disney for Oct 2014. My question is if I bank my 2013 pts into 2014 and the trip is in 2014 cn I still book in Nov 0f this year for the 11 month window we have BCV

What is your UY? You can always book 11 months in advance but in terms of points that can be used, it is based on the UY that the trip will fall.

So, unless you have a Dec UY, you would want to bank 2013 into 2014 in order to make them eligible for that trip.

If you have a Dec UY, then an Oct 2014 trip will take place in your Dec 2013 UY so no banking would be needed. You'd be borrowing 2014.

You can always reserve 11 months out at home resort, banking and borrowing are irrelevant to that issue. Whether you need to bank or borrow and which use year points are current use year points for a trip depends on time you will be at WDW. For example, if you have a Sep use year, you would need to bank your 2013 points, the Sep 2014 points would be the "current" use year points for that Oct 2014 trip, and you could also borrow from Sep 2015 use year. And you can do all that when calling in Nov 2013 to set up the reservation.
