Use Year and Banking Points

Hi,

Does it matter when my Use Year is, in conjuction with banking points? I know when we went into the sales office they said we had to bank by June ( or somewhere near this time). Our Use Year is February. Do we have until July then?? The same amount inbetween as January and June? Did I confuse you, because I'm confusing myself!

With a February use year the deadlines are:

100% - July 31
50% - Oct 31
25% - Nov 30

So if you have 150 points, to bank all 150 you must do it by July 31, to bank a total of 75 Oct 31, 37 total Nov 30. You cannot bank in Dec or Jan.

Keep in mind that MS is closed on weekends and many major holidays. Therefore your banking deadlines are:

2003: 25% - Fri, Nov 28

2004: 100% - Fri, July 30
2004: 50% - Fri, Oct 29
2004: 25% - Tue, Nov 30

Also as Deb showed, when 50% or 25% becomes a fraction, MS rounds the number DOWN. 25% of 150 points is 37.5 points which rounds to 37 points (and not 38).
