Use year and add on points

If you add on to your membership do you get a new use year? Can you get the same use year?

For an add-on of less than 150 points, DVC will only sell you the same Use Year. If there are no points left in your Use Year, they won't sell you a different one. They will sell you 150 or more points in a different Use Year since, in effect, that is a new contract.

You can purchase whatever you like in the resale market. It takes some bookkeeping to keep track of your points and their expirations but many on this board seem to be doing it.
