Use PIN code or rent points for SSR - which is a better deal?

I recently received a PIN code postcard in the mail and was planning on using it to add a few days to my trip, splitting my stay, and staying in a 2BR villa at SSR. The price I was quoted by disney with the code was $922.50 for two nights w/ tax.

I have never rented DVC points before but was wondering if trying to rent would get me a better deal.

Rack rate online would cost $2000+ so either way I am saving money but was just hoping for a little advice and direction...

Though every transaction is strictly between the renter and the owner, I would be shocked if you could rent those nights for less than $1300 (they are 65 points for each night).
