USA SIM cards for Iphone/ipad

Ah that explains it. I thought maybe I had misunderstood the Orange offers, but I have a Blackberry so yes, it works a bit differently where data is concerned. I will of course check the terms and conditions of the offer out very carefully if I consider it. I just thought the data bundles for roaming didn't look too bad. But with that said, my peace of mind is always to turn off data while roaming when out in the US. Obviously I would need to have that switched on to be able to use the bundles and really don't want to encounter any glitches with their service charging wrongly ... I have had issues with Orange a couple of years ago when I was sitting peacefully in Scotland using my mobile broadband dongle and was disconnected because I had exceeded 3G of Roaming Data :scared1: Although it was clearly an error and was eventually sorted out, it took over a month to and a threat of taking matters further before they rectified the problem. :furious:

I should probably caveat everything by saying I am on a 15GB per month business tariff and still use it all so not your average user. There is something really cool and a little cheeky about standing in the queue for dumbo, remote controlling a laptop back at home which is connected to a server in a clients building, doing a quick fix and then signing off with a picture of me scoffing a turkey leg! I love my job.

Oh, and charging for it as well lol

Ohhhhh!! I see :rotfl: In that case, forget anything I've previously asked ... when will your company be hiring staff? :rotfl2:

Sorry, one man band for now.

I still recommend the AT&T route though, after a recent post pointing out a change in terms it's slightly more expensive at $50 in total for 1GB of allowance but with unlocking price and ebay SIM that's still max £50 so still less than the 150MB bundle on Orange for 1GB plus 250 minutes and unlimited texts.

Worth it and I can vouch for the fact it works a treat over there, as can the owners of my turkey leg photos!
