Which park would be better for our two young boys? We are visiting in November of 2003 and want to spend a day at one of the parks, but have never been to either one. We always stay at Disney, but this time want to try something new. I just am not sure which would be better for young children.

I have two the same ages and we did both the parks. Both have attractions that will appeal to young children. IOA has Suess Landing which is tailored to that age group. Universal has more attractions that are family-friendly, i.e. Barney, E.T., Woody Woodpecke's Kidzone, Fievel'sPlayland, not to mention shows, that are very family friendly. If you can do both, I would go for it, but if you can only do one, I would go with Universal.

Hard decision. At US they can do more of the ride/shows but I think IOA is more entertaining for the younger kids. DD has been to US/IOA at 3 1/2 and 4 1/2. While she loves ET at US she had really rather be at IOA in Seuss Landing or Jurrasic Park.

We took our 3 in November. Chloe 8, Paul 5 and Sam 22 months.

They liked both parks - some rides in both for them - but I think IOA was their favourite. As well as the suitable rides there are 3 'playgrounds' for them there - the ship (Me Ship, The Olive) at Toon Lagoon, Camp Jurassic in Jurassic Park and If I Ran the Zoo at Suess Landing. A word of warning - they got wet in all of them so either strip them down to the minimum or have plenty of changes of clothes.
