US and UK shoe size

Looked in my diary for this year and shoe conversion table not in it!!!
Does anyone know what size UK 7 is in US?
Just over a week to go and one of the first things I'm going to do is treat myself to a new pair of trainers for all that Park walking!!

US sizes are one bigger than UK - size 7 should be 8's in USA.

I thought it was UK size plus one only for men's shoes? Women's shoes are plus two or three if I remember correctly.

I know this isn't much help but I remember that both the Nike & Adidas shoe boxes having British and American sizes on the side.

When we used to live in the US I would take a women's 7.5 Here in the UK I take a size 5. My DH took a US size 8, here in the UK he takes a size 7. Hope this is of some use!

All the shoe boxes we saw in December (we saw a lot ) had the US, UK & European sizes on, as AndRu says

I take a size 7 and I bought a pair os nike, they were a 9 1/2. I think it depends on the make?
