DH and I are flying down to WDW using Southwest in October. His adult daughter and her best friend are flying down to join us and taking US Airways. They were scheduled to arrive about 10:00 am on Monday, October 30. We're flying from Philly, they're coming in from Erie.

She got a call from US Airways that their flight has been canceled. They offered her three alternatives, one that arrives six hours later, one that arrives sometime in the evening on October 30, or one that arrives about 10:30 pm on Sunday, October 29.

If you have a flight on US Airways, double check to make sure it's still running.

Well Erie isn't what I would call a booming airport so flight changes are typical ;) No matter what airline you are flying, you should always call and confirm flights!

If they are unhappy with those flights, why don't they fly out of Pittsburgh? Many more options for PIT to MCO. It is only a 2 hour drive and flights are typically cheaper out of PIT than ERI. There is always the option of flying Southwest out of BUF or PIT as well.

Hope your friends make arrangements that work out well for them!
