Our friends have asked us to take their daughter with us to Disney. Problem is that whilst we are booked with virgin holidays, they are sold out of their allocation at POR for our dates.
I have managed to book the flight seperately for her but where can i get a good deal on a room at POR for 16-31 Jan.

A seperate room is necessary.

Before becoming a passholder, we always booked through expedia.com....was always able to find some decent rates there, however I think that theyre disney hotel rates include park admission and you cant remove it. You might also want to try calling Disney and explain to them the situation, or just tell them that you will need an extra room and see if there might be some sort of upgrade or deal they can work out with you

Hi telephone Disney Central Reservations and see how much a room at POR is at Rack rates then see how much one would be at Annual Passholder rates. See if you save enough( and there is a room available ) for you to but just one annual pass. It all depends on whther you have tickets etc already.

Look http://mousesavers.com/disneyresorts.html#bce as this explains whether this option would be financially viable. As you are going for 2 weeks and the time you are going is value season you may find you get a good deal.

Try first with you may also be able to get the CTH code ($85 plus for anyone, but the discounts are not as generous), or if you have AAA (don't know?) you get 15-20% off rack rate at POR in that timeframe. Availability is limited, but you never know.

You would book both these codes as room only through the CRO (1-407-DISNEY).

Good Luck!

You shouldn't have a problem getting the CTH code discount for that time. Just call CRO and check availability. :) It should be about $85 a night.

Also, depending on how many people are in your party, some rooms at POR will take 5. At least that's what I've heard.

I've called my TA and they've added her to our room.

It'll be less private for all but what elsr can we do?

When we were planning our trip for 5 (me, dh, dd - 16, dd - 6, dd - 4) We found that 2 rooms at Pop were cheaper than one anywhere els that could accomodate 5! Something to think about.

Another possibility would be the Fort Wilderness Cabins. there is a seperate bedroom and a murphy bed in the living room.
