Urban Legends.....Grrrr--A Small Rant

I find it annoying as well. We had one shared with a Parent Support group through my employer by the faciliator the other week - another member had sent it to her, it was from 2000 when they pulled the cold meds off the shelf due to the ingrediant (it's eluding me now... Psomething) - I forwarded it back to her with the link to the info regarding it being outdated.

I have even "trained" my 82 year old mom to check snopes.com. So no excuse for anyone not checking things out!

I usually just ignore them. Some are so outrageous they are funny. It really isn't all that big a deal to hit delete. It takes up too much time to check it out on snopes and then send that back to the original sender...big, big waste of my time.
