UPS lost package

It always shows delivered when UPS hands it over to my post office. I called UPS before and while the 800 number tells you nothing, I often get them to have my local UPS office call me. It works so much nicer getting info from the local people who really do know what is going on.

Mine never shows delivered. I just checked my latest order that was shipped via UPS and delivered by USPS, and it says in the following order:

• Received by the local post office
• Package sorted by local post office
• Package out for local post office delivery
• Package delivered by local post office

We've had a similar issue and had packages delivered to the wrong house. As the recipient, we've always been able to call UPS with the tracking number and just tell them that your package shows delivered but it is not there. The person at the 800 number has called the local office who has called the driver to give us more info. We have also had the driver come back after hours the same day to find the package.
