Uppy, Uppy, Mr. Andy -- Update -- WRAP UP -- Post 1346, Page 90

Love the pics without the crane !! Very nice. :)

The last pic is hilarious !! :lmao: (Go Pats ! :rolleyes1)

The castle pictures look great, especially without the crane.

The last one is too funny:lmao:

Those pictures are awesome. You'd think Disney's Photopass could crop the crain.

My DH and one son are huge Bear fans. My DH's dad actually played for the Bears in the early 70's. I can't wait to show them that picture!

Loved the edited pix of the Castle !!!Please link me when you start your ptr !!I am still way behind on everything due to my horrendous week:scared1:I have to attend the Wake of the other individual who passed tonight with 2 or 3 of the guys !!!:sad2:

Awesome job Barry! He is the Photoshop Wizard. :worship:

He then included the BEST DISNEY PICTURE EVER, in his mind:

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: Well played, Barry. Well played. I'm surprised this didn't end up happening on my photos.

missed the last few updates but im all caught up now...enjoyed them all, it seems no matter what time of year the EMH at epcot in the evening is busy.

i think its a combo of all the other parks converging there, with AK closing early, and MGM not having fantasmic each night they get alot of the overflow for there evenings.

I wanted to do an update tonight, but after cleaning the house and cooking, I'm exhuasted. However, I did want to share some pictures with you.

My friend, Barry (FreezinRafiki) here on the DIS, photochopped (or whatevedr it called) my castle pictures to get rid of the crane and did an awesome job. Here are a few samples:

You have to understand Barry is a diehard Packers fan (he lives in Wisconsin) and I am Chicago Bears fan (having lived in the Chicago area all my life). Somehow, our youngest son, is also a diehard Packers fan as well (yes, we dropped him on his head when he was born, I think). In any event, Barry is very lucky I enjoyed meeting him and his adorablve son or I wouldn't be too happy about the attached (although I have to say it was kind of funny; my husband did NOT find it funny at all).

Barry, thanks so much for doing this for us...I truly appreciate it. You do terrific work.

I promise an update tomorrow; I have a PTR to start on Tuesday.

how nice of Barry....and then to put a twist on it too :lmao:

Kathy,
How awesome of Barry to "fix" your castle.

The extras are just too funny. :rotfl2:

Dan, you have a very good point and that could be a big part of it.

Thanks, Lisa (and thanks for your card which we got today).

Kathy,
How awesome of Barry to "fix" your castle.

The extras are just too funny. :rotfl2:

Gotta love, Barry (especially when Bambi is mad at him ;) ).

I left off with us having gotten through bag check adn at the front of the MK.

We sent Andy off to get fastpasses for he and I for Space Mountain while Mark and I stopped at the crystal shop to get Markie's souvenir. Souvenir ordered and being held for us, we started to head toward Space Mountain to meet Andy. But we saw him walking toward the castle and I texted him on his cell phone and said to wait there for us.

Fastpasses in hand:

We headed here:

And what would our first attraction be? Can you guess?

Having ridden our favorite elephant, it was time for some more Fantasyland attractions:

Then it was off to see some ghosts and play in the new queue:

After finishing up our visit with those 999 ghosts, we were off to Frontierland. Before we went there,m I had to stop at the Christmas store to pick up an oranment I had seen and wanted to get. My two guys being funny outside the shop:

It was really hot again, so we decided to cut through all the stores on our way to Big Thunder. And, as is usualy in this family, that meant stopping for some hat shots:

I know a lot of people didn't like the version with Iago, etc., but this "new" version which is supposed to be like the original did not do it for me at all. It didn't seem like the original that much and I wasn't impressed.

Time to go see some pirates:

And the boys must play:

Then it was time for one of Mark's favorite things to do -- ride the Walt Disney World Railroad:

Day7129.jpg

We got off at Main Street and picked up our souvenir for Markie. Then we headed back to Tomorrowland so Andy and I could ride Space Mountain. Mark was checking office voice mail while we did this. Then Mark and Andy did Carrousel of Progress; I wasn't in the mood for a nap, so I skipped it. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

We got off at the Main Street station and picked up Markie's gift. From there, it was off to Tomorrowland so that Andy and I could ride Space Mountain with our fastpasses. While we were doing that, Mark checked his office voice mail. Then the guys went and did Carousel of Progress. Since I didn't feel much like a nap, I skipped it and let them go alone. While they were gone, I ran into Mary and the girls and Mary had just gotten off her first ride on Space Mountain! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

The boys came out and we went to try to get on Buzz Lightyear before our lunch reservation; however, it was down for mechanical difficulties so we walked to the Plaza for our lunch. A few pictures while we waited to be called for our table:

After another great lunch at the Plaza, we went to see Mickey's Philharmagic before we left to start our drive to Marco Island. As always, we loved the show.

Andy wanted some fudge to take to Marco with us, so we stopped at the shop:

It was then time to give a balloon to a young child in memory of my dad. I had wanted Andy to do it, but once we picked out the little girl, he got all choked up which got me crying, and Mark had to do it. She really liked her purple Mickey balloon.

After a quick run to the bathroom, we realized the parade was starting and Andy asked if we could stay. Since we missed the parade the last year, I had no arguments with it. Andy took the following pictures:

We had to stop at Downtown Disney for Andy to pick up something for his girlfriend:

We were on the road to Marco Island. Along the way, Andy decided he needed to taste his fudge:

Day7188.jpg

We arrived on Marco Island around 7:45 or so. We got to the condo and brought up the luggage. I checked the fridge to see what was there that might need to be thrown out and poured out the milk  But when I poured it in the sink and was going to rinse it out, there was no water. I called the building manager and we got that going. Andy plopped down on the couch and Mark and I headed to the store for some groceries. I think after checking my email, I was in bed and sound asleep by 10 p.m. It had been a long day.

Up next, I will do a little synopsis of our time on Marco. I also plan to start the PTR tomorrow (I'm waiting for Mary to suggest a title).

I feel a little sad that this was your last day in disney. However, it means you will start your PTR soon and that will be very fun!!!

I also look forward to reading all about your time at Marco Island. :goodvibes

what a wonderful last day at Disney you had!

I see the "hat" apple doesn't fall far from the tree :lmao:

love the photo of " reindeer" Mark and "Santa" Andy

ok ewww, you had to clean out the fridge at the condo, yuck :scared1: can't wait to see your photos of Marco!
