UPH Shipping Question

I was checking out the shipping prices for purchasing the UPH pass in advance on the Disney website. I was wondering if anyone knew if you purchase the pass in advance and ship it or get "Will Call" (pick up when you get there), can you still get the pass to be your room key and have charging privileges on it? The reason I'm asking is "Will Call" says to pick it up at the theme parks and not at the resorts. This is for my SIL and she wants to get the advance purchase discount, so she won't be buying it at the resort when she checks in, but also doesn't want to have to carry around her credit card and a room key in addition to the pass.

I'm pretty sure that UPHs have to be on the room keys. For this reason, I don't think you can "will call" them anywhere but at your hotel. Not sure how this works when ordering through the website.

I got the "will call" from Disney's own website. I was looking at the options for UPH shipping, and it was 7-14 days standard - $3.00, express - $10.00 and will call was free. However, it said that will call had to be picked up at the 4 theme parks, not at the resorts. That's why I'm wondering if you can get the room key and charging on it.

UPH passes are only available for purchase to WDW resort guests. When you check in at your resort, they'll give you room keys for everyone in your party. You cannot get the passes at the parks or any other place because, again, they're part of your room key. You'll also be able to charge purchases to the room this way. If there are children in your group, you can ask that their keys not have charging privileges on them. In order to purchase UPH passes through the WDW website, you also have to book a room reservation at the same time. The two transactions cannot be done seperately on the website. If you already have a room only reservation, just call CRO to purchase the tickets if you want to get the advance purchase discount. I don't know what your travel dates are, but you might want to check into the 5 plus 2 package. You get 7 nights/8 days for the price of 5 which includes the UPH passes. Basically you'd be paying 5 nights hotel and 6 days passes.
