upgrading virgin ultimate

Is it possible to upgrade your Ultimate pass (purchased with Virgin) to a Disney Annual Pass...after looking into it I think an annual pass would be better but after e mailing wdw have got no awnser...if anyone has done it can they tell me how they did it and how much it cost...Ta

There are certain tickets Disney won't let you upgrade to an annual pass, and though I don't know for sure I have a feeling this may be one of them

I am basing this on the fact that you could not upgrade to an annual pass from the old Ten Day World tickets which were sold in the UK only and I think the ultimate you are describing is another UK only ticket - though again I'm not sure.

Anyone else know??

If you can. and it is an if, you will be given the credit only for the amount virgin paid for the ticket, not the face value.

Yes you can, but I cant remember how much it costs sorry. When you get your ultimate pass BEFORE you enter the pass go to customer relations and ask to upgrade to annual pass, you can either get it without the water parks or with the water parks but as I said I cant remember how much it was.

SOrry, I don't think you can upgrade either the 14 or 21 day ultimate tickets. Don't know why though.

Oh yes you can I had a 14 ultimate ticket and had no trouble upgrading it to a premium annual pass. I have it in front of me now. i did it on 24/10/2005 so it runs out 24/10/2006.
