Upgrading to AP for new code

I should know this by know but seem to have drawn a blank. If the new AP code is available for our stay March 24-30, I thought it might be cost effective to upgrade one of our 7 day hoppers to an AP. If so, where would I need to go to do the upgrade? Can this be done at the resort or will I have to go to one of the parks?

Can I upgrade the 4 days to an AP?
