Upgrading Promo Tickets to AP

Hello!

We have Buy 2 days/Get 2 days free promo tickets for this weekend? Does anyone know for sure whether Universal will give us the full value of a 4-day ticket toward an AP (bridging the value), or just the actual value we paid?

When I did it back in 2018, it was Universal's price on the promo tickets - in other words, if you bought it from Undercover Tourist or some such, you still make a bit on it, but if you plan to upgrade to the AP you basically lose almost all the benefit to doing the promo tickets first. So those tickets should be worth approximately the value of a 2 day ticket towards any upgrade. What I've read on here hasn't led me to believe there has been any change in this policy since then.
