Upgrading pass 4 months in

My family members from out of state have purchased an annual pass, activated in November 2022. They are now looking to come down in march and would like to upgrade the pass to the highest pass which is a difference of about $280. The question is will that be the price that they have to pay to upgrade or does the price go down based on how many months are already used for the annual pass?

They are unable to give me a straight answer over the phone, so I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this upgrading the pass months later.

Also are power passes blocked out for Mardi grad concerts or just seasonal?

Upgrade price is not prorated at all. Same cost 11 months in as 1 month in. Power passes are not blocked out for concerts, last time DH had a seasonal he had to upgrade for a holiday concert and it was about $50 to go from seasonal to power.

Not sure what their reasoning is to upgrade to the highest level, you can get many of the benefits with just 1 person of the group upgrading to that, but not the EP after 4 PM perk or free HHN ticket if that is what they are looking to get for everyone.
