Upgrading Park Tickets

Just a quick question about updating our park tickets. I originally purchased a 5 day park tickets for my family members from a discount ticket outlet. I intend to use the tickets before going to guest relations to upgrade my park tickets. The question I have do I need the magic bands or can I bring the tickets to guest relations to upgrade the tickets from a 5 day to 6 day.

If the tickets are linked to your MDE profile, they can scan either to find them.

If the tickets aren't linked to MDE, you would need the actual tickets.

Since the original tickets are assigned to magic band(s), the added day will also 'attach' to the same band(s).

We had a ticket to add three days to since our son decided to spend all nine nights with us instead of just six. I brought his ticket, plus his band and it was upgraded easily. Cost us $30 to do it. I did it at GR at AK after he had used it the night before.
