:scratchin Is it possible to upgrade Magic Your Way park tickets after checking in at WDW?

We have a AAA package that included room, dining and park tickets.
I don't think we will be using all of our days at the parks and would like to add a 'no expiration' to our tickets. Do we have to do this before we arrive? Or, at the end of the stay can we purchase 'no expiration' on just the remaining days left on the tickets.

Thanks!

I purchased the 7 day base ticket and would like to know if I can upgrade to a hopper at check-in. TIA!!! :sunny:

Yes, tickets can be upgraded at Guest Relations or the front desk at your resort. I have been told that you can upgrade at any time but would call guest relations and double check.

In most cases the ticket has to first be converted to a 2006 gate purchased ticket before it can be upgraded. The ticket looks and works the same but it costs some money to make this conversion. This conversion takes place automatically and at almost the same time as the upgrade so you don't have to get in line again at Guest Relations.

The visible result is that adding non-expiration or more days may cost more than what you think it should cost by looking at the signs posted above ticket booths. Roughly the formula is similar to a formula used years ago, you pay the difference between the wholesale price of what you have and the gate price of what you want.

There may be some exceptions such as tickets purchased at advance purchase discounts directly from Disney, where you pay just the cost of non-expiration that is posted.

In all cases non-expiration is based on the days originally on the ticket plus any days added on the spot, not the days remaining.

Thanks! That answers my question! :cutie:
