Shouldn't I be able to book Dec 1st today?

I have a reservation that I booked yesterday for Nov 30, shouldn't I be able to book Dec 1st today? Or am I losing my mind?

No. Matches day to day. Jan 1 for Dec 1.
Like Mar 28 for Feb 28 (or Mar 29 for a Feb 29). Then have to wait a few days to Apr 1 for Mar 1.

Is member services open regular hours tomorrow 1/1/26? I couldn't find anything on the website about special hours. With 12/1/26 booking opening tomorrow, I imagine it would be busy if they are open.

I would think they are closed, but I could be wrong. I almost called today when I couldn't book but decided it wasnt wise to call MS and ask for why I couldn't continue walking my reservation.

Member Services, Member Accounting and Member Administration will also close at 3:00pm Eastern on Wednesday, December 31, remaining closed on January 1, 2026. They will reopen at 9am on Friday, January 2.

The craziest booking lag IMO, are those made for stays starting 1/29, 1/30, 1/31, or 2/1 - 4 days worth all booking on 3/1 (unless it’s a leap year.)

There are only 5 AKV concierge 2 bedroom lock offs, I’m not sure whether they’re being walked or just impossible to get because of the competition. Next year at some point DVC will pull those concierge villas from inventory for Jambo’s refurb - when that happens anyone who is trying to walk will find themselves blocked & their walk will end .

I couldn't even get a walk started for all of 2025, but I was able to piece together a nice 4 night stay by picking up days behind the walkers and waitlisting a few more days.
