Upgrading fm MYW package tix to Annual Pass

Has anyone done this?

We have a 5 night MYW with dining (not the free dining, we paid), and 10 day no expiration passes. I read or heard somewhere that you have 14 days from the first use of a ticket to upgrade to an AP. So theoretically, after checkout on our last day, we could uprade to AP's, right? Any info or actual experience with this would be GREATLY apprecaited!!

Once the last day of admission has been used up, you cannot upgrade the ticket - even if it is still within 14 days of the first use of the ticket.

So if you are going to do the upgrade, do it before the last day of admission is used. Disney will backdate the AP to the first day the MYW ticket was used, so there is no advantage to waiting.
