Upgrading FL Resident Seasonal Pass

We currently have the Florida Resident seasonal pass on the monthly payment plan. I thought there was no way of upgrading to the Annual Pass but DS's girlfriend's family took him during the blackout dates and were able to upgrade it. Anyone know how this worked out?

Take the current passes and photo IDs to any Guest Relations, and pay the difference price to upgrade.
Your anniversary/expiration date of the original passes will transfer to the upgraded passes.
No pro-rated price.

I don't know if they will transfer the increased cost over to the monthly payment plan, but you can ask.

You have to pay the difference in cash - your monthly payments will remain the same as they can make no changes to the contract price.
