Upgrading Canadian tickets

I tried searching for this answer and I couldn’t find any consistent answers. I want to purchase the Canadian tickets before February 10th when the deal is over but I can’t decide which tickets to buy. Our trip isn’t until October so it’s hard for me to plan that far in advance. Can I add the hopper and water park option on later or when I am there for the same price or do I lose the discount? Also can I add a day on later or will I lose the discount? I think I only want 4 or 5 day tickets tickets but who knows for sure that far in advance?

With tickets bought during the previous promotion, upgrades could be done for a small fee until the promo was over but after it ended, you would lose any discount when doing any upgrade (adding a day, PH, etc.). I would assume it will be the same for the current promotion.

Buy more than you think you will need. The difference is small now between adding an extra day but will be very large once the promotion is over.

We were debating between 4 or 5 days but updated for 5 because it was cheaper than trying to upgrade later. Doing 5 days will also allow us to go a little easier and see more at MK.

That’s what I was planning on doing as well but now we think we might want to do the Halloween party so we’ll get an extra day at MK that way. Even with the Canadian discount with two parties tickets for five people is Expensive!!
